​We have a fantastic position for a new Head of Clinical Services based in the Liverpool area. You will be working with a very well respected Occupational Health business. Nationwide travel will be expected as and when required. The salary on offer is £50k - £60k + a fantastic benefits package.

Experience:

  • Extensive clinical and management experience is required, including coaching outstanding performance, effective supervision of OH staff and contractors, succession planning, and managing any areas of under performance

  • Previous experience heading up Occupational Health Services from a clinical perspective

  • Involvement in tender processes to agree overall contractual services as well as the ability to provide fresh-thinking to our portfolio

  • Driving continuous improvement and productivity in the OH services

  • Strong organisational capability, with skill at managing tight deadlines are a must.

  • Reviewing contracts and ensuring regular monitoring and compliance

  • Developing a high performing team and helping to develop overall processes too

  • Encourage team members to expand, develop their own competencies and effective succession planning.

  • Ensuring delivery of the strategic plan is met against targets

  • Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong “can do” attitude that replicates your own desire to succeed

  • Improving customer experience

  • Input to service development

  • Ability to troubleshoot

The Head of Clinical Services role will involve:

  • Ensuring strong and effective governance, and acting as a clinical lead for the provision of the Occupational Health Services

  • Delivering and maintaining SEQOSH and all other regulatory frameworks applicable to our industry

  • Setting and maintaining clinical standards across all contracts

  • Continuously monitor the performance, quality and value proposition of contractors

  • Developing, analysing, monitoring and maintaining all required data/information

  • Ensuring Continuous Professional Development of the clinical team

  • Input to all tenders

  • Assisting in clinics where required

  • Maintaining GDPR standards and relevant documentation held on the Apollo system

  • Liaise with clients on clinical matters

  • Undertake Risk assessments as and when appropriate
