Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Inchinnan (Hybrid, 1 day onsite and 4 days home-based)
Salary: Competitive salary dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm
OH Medical is recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider in a hybrid role based in Inchinnan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to deliver a full Occupational Health service, including case management, health surveillance, fitness for work assessments and clinical advice. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with just one day per week onsite and the remainder working from home.
OHA Duties
Deliver evidence-based case management and fitness for work assessments
Produce high-quality Occupational Health reports and recommendations
Provide expert Occupational Health advice to managers and employees
Undertake health surveillance, fitness medicals and statutory health assessments
Carry out spirometry, audiometry and general medical examinations
Evaluate clinical findings and provide appropriate fitness recommendations
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NMC standards and GDPR requirements
Support clients with legislative compliance and Occupational Health best practice
Occupational Health Advisor Requirements
Registered Nurse (NMC Part 1)
Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)
Experience delivering Occupational Health case management
Competent in spirometry, audiometry, general medicals and fitness for work assessments
Strong report writing and communication skills
Good understanding of Occupational Health legislation, confidentiality and data protection
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
Confident using IT systems and electronic Occupational Health records
