Occupational Health Advisor

Location: Inchinnan (Hybrid, 1 day onsite and 4 days home-based)
Salary: Competitive salary dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm

OH Medical is recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider in a hybrid role based in Inchinnan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to deliver a full Occupational Health service, including case management, health surveillance, fitness for work assessments and clinical advice. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with just one day per week onsite and the remainder working from home.

OHA Duties
  • Deliver evidence-based case management and fitness for work assessments

  • Produce high-quality Occupational Health reports and recommendations

  • Provide expert Occupational Health advice to managers and employees

  • Undertake health surveillance, fitness medicals and statutory health assessments

  • Carry out spirometry, audiometry and general medical examinations

  • Evaluate clinical findings and provide appropriate fitness recommendations

  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NMC standards and GDPR requirements

  • Support clients with legislative compliance and Occupational Health best practice

Occupational Health Advisor Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (NMC Part 1)

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)

  • Experience delivering Occupational Health case management

  • Competent in spirometry, audiometry, general medicals and fitness for work assessments

  • Strong report writing and communication skills

  • Good understanding of Occupational Health legislation, confidentiality and data protection

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload

  • Confident using IT systems and electronic Occupational Health records
