Lead Occupational Health Advisor Newcastle

OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Lead Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider, in a Full or Part -Time (30 - 37.5 Hours) Permanent role in Newcastle. This exciting opportunity will see you working in an in-house public sector department delivering a first-class Occupational Health Service.

The Role:

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Lead Occupational Health Advisor to join an established Occupational Health team to deliver a professional Occupational Health service for employees. As the Lead Occupational Health Advisor you will spend 4 days per week working onsite and 1 day per week working from home, your duties will include:

  • Team Performance Management

  • Case Management

  • Conduct clinics for Pre-placement and Safety Critical Medicals

  • Provide Immunisation Clinics.

  • Carryout Performance, Attendance and Pre-Placement Call Backs.

Required Skills:

To thrive in this Lead Occupational Health Advisor role, you'll need:

  • NMC Registration

  • Post-Registration Occupational Health Qualification or NMC Specialist Registration.

  • Excellent Communication and People Management Skills

  • Effective Time Management and Organisational Skills with the Ability to Manage Your Own Workload and Organise the Workflow of the OH Department

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills with the Ability to Find Practical Solutions to any Identified Occupational Health Issues.

  • Knowledge and Experience of Case Management.

  • Strong IT Literacy is Essential.
