OH Medical is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to join our client's team based in Barrow-In-Furness. You will be working alongside the two existing OH Advisors onsite to deliver the Occupational Health Service. This is a part-time, permanent role working 4 days a week between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm.

The role breakdown is 90% case management and 10% Health promotion, some other duties include:

  • To evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance provided.

  • To provide clinical supervision and support other team members where relevant (such as OH Technicians)

 Salary & Benefits

  • £36,000 - £38,000 Pro-rata

 Essential Skills

  • Registration with NMC Part 1

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma

  • Part 3 of the NMC register

  • Meticulous written skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills

  • IT literacy and competence

  • Case Management and provision of OH advice

  • General medicals and health surveillance

  • Flexible and hardworking

 Desired Skills

  • Msc qualification in OH related field

  • Dual RN/RMN qualification

  • Practice Teaching/Mentoring of OH students

  • Management of OH teams

  • Administration of vaccinations and travel health services
