​OH Medical is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to join our client based in Crewe. This is a part-time role, with the working hours of 22.5 hours per week, working three full days between Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm.  The successful individual will work alone on site but be part of a wider team of two who cover Land UK sites. 


This role will be made up of health surveillance, case management, face fit testing, DSE assessments and wellbeing/ health promotion activities.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Ability to work as a long practitioner 

  • Must have the full OH skillset remit

  • Case Management

  • Fitness for work referrals

  • Provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to OH

  • Health Surveillance including:

    • Spirometry

    • Audiometry

    • General Medicals

    • Drug and Alcohol screening


Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Ability to complete detailed clinical assessments and producing excellent OH reports 

  • Undertake the full remit of health surveillance medicals and functional assessments 

  • Registration with NMC Part 1

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma

  • Excellent time management skills

  • IT literacy and competence

  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation

  • Case Management and provision of OH advice

  • General medicals and health surveillance

  • Flexible and hardworking

  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and also as part of a team


Salary & Benefits

Desired Skills

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma recorded on Part 3 of the NMC register

  • Dual RN/RMN qualification

  • Knowledge of OH service delivery in a wide range of settings

  • Administration of vaccinations and travel health services

  • Advanced ergonomic advice

  • Awareness of delivering health promotion programs
