Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Stockton-on-Tees (On-site 3 days + 2 days remote)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Contract: Permanent
OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider supporting their client in Stockton-on-Tees.
This is a varied and hands-on role combining case management, health surveillance and wellbeing, offering the opportunity to build strong on-site relationships while maintaining a degree of flexibility.
The Role:
Managing a caseload of employees, providing advice on fitness for work, rehabilitation and return-to-work plans
Conducting occupational health assessments and producing clear, evidence-based reports
Delivering health surveillance programmes (including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and HAVS)
Advising on workplace health risks and supporting risk assessments including DSE
Supporting health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
Liaising with HR, Health & Safety and external healthcare providers
Monitoring trends in health data and contributing to proactive interventions
Supporting compliance with occupational health legislation and best practice
About You:
Registered Nurse with an Occupational Health qualification (Diploma or Degree)
NMC registered (Part 1 or 3)
Experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor delivering case management and health surveillance
Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practice
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Confident using occupational health systems and IT platforms
Ability to work independently across multiple sites
