OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider supporting a client site in Newton Aycliffe. This is a full-time or part-time permanent opportunity, with a minimum of three days per week on site. Offering a salary of up to £43,000 depending on experience, this varied role combines case management, health surveillance and wellbeing services within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Duties
Deliver occupational health case management and complex management referrals.
Undertake fitness for work assessments and provide evidence-based clinical advice.
Carry out health surveillance, vaccinations and phlebotomy.
Deliver workplace health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
Support employee rehabilitation and return-to-work programmes.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with GDPR and professional standards.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to provide an excellent Occupational Health service.
Participate in clinical audits, CPD and NMC revalidation activities.
Criteria
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
Occupational Health Degree or Diploma.
Minimum of two years' Occupational Health case management experience, including complex referrals.
Competent in health surveillance, fitness for work medicals, vaccinations and phlebotomy.
Experience delivering workplace health promotion and wellbeing events.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience within the rail sector would be beneficial.
