Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Belfast (On-site across 2 sites + 1 day remote)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
Contract: Permanent

OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider supporting clients across Belfast. This is a multi-site role, split across two locations, with an additional remote working day each week.

This is a varied and hands-on role combining case management, health surveillance and wellbeing, offering the opportunity to build strong on-site relationships while maintaining a degree of flexibility.

The Role:

  • Managing a caseload of employees, providing advice on fitness for work, rehabilitation and return-to-work plans

  • Conducting occupational health assessments and producing clear, evidence-based reports

  • Delivering health surveillance programmes (including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and HAVS)

  • Advising on workplace health risks and supporting risk assessments including DSE

  • Supporting health promotion and wellbeing initiatives

  • Liaising with HR, Health & Safety and external healthcare providers

  • Monitoring trends in health data and contributing to proactive interventions

  • Supporting compliance with occupational health legislation and best practice

About You:

  • Registered Nurse with an Occupational Health qualification (Diploma or Degree)

  • NMC registered (Part 1 or 3)

  • Experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor delivering case management and health surveillance

  • Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practice

  • Excellent report writing and communication skills

  • Confident using occupational health systems and IT platforms

  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites

Working Pattern:

  • 36.5 hours per week

  • 4 days on-site (split across two locations)

  • 1 day remote working

Flexibility to travel between sites is essential.
