​OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor in a peripatetic role around Kent, you will be homebased in a Part Time (32 hours / 4 days) permanent position working for a leading Occupational Health Provider. 


The Remit

This is a full remit role will be a mix of case management and wide range of Health Surveillance and Fitness for Work Assessments. Where you will promote the health of all employees by developing and participating in health promotion programmes in conjunction with national health events and the requirements of the clients.

  • Advise employees on health problems and sickness absence assisting in their return to work

  • Provide occupational health advise to managers and employees

  • Health Surveillance, Pre-employment and fitness for work screening 

  • Contribute to health & wellbeing campaigns

Skill Requirements

​

  • Be a registered nurse with NMC Part 1 (Essential) Part 3 (Highly Desirable)

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma (Highly Desirable)

  • Case Management & Management Referral experience (Essential)

  • Health Surveillance & Screening experience (Essential)

  • Be able to prioritise and manage their time effectively (Essential)

  • Can work confidently and independently whist operating within a team framework (Essential)

  • Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)

  • Full Driving License and own Vehicle (Essential)

  • Experience delivering immunisations and venepuncture (Highly Desirable) 

  • Working days ideally a Monday and Friday and then any other 2 days in the week
