OH Medical is looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our client and their in-house Occupational Health team on a Full-time or Part-time permanent basis. You will be working 5 days per week, covering 2-3 sites in Leicester with about 25 minutes between them!
As an OH Advisor, your typical duties will include:
Conduct health surveillance (e.g., lung function & audiometry tests) based on workplace hazards.
Interpret and manage complex health information from employees, managers, and HR.
Communicate health-related details clearly to non-clinical staff.
Provide specialist advice to managers and employees autonomously.
Lead health promotion, wellbeing initiatives, and campaigns.
Support risk management and reduction related to health.
Identify and prevent work-related ill health.
Assess the impact of work on employee health.
Advise on health emergencies and first aid management.
Required Skills:
Nurse with a valid NMC registration
Holding an Occupational Health diploma or degree is preferable.
Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor, including health surveillance and case management
Experience working in a standalone post
Experienced in policy writing and implementation
