​​OH Medical are currently recruiting an Occupational Health Advisor to join our client on a part time permanent basis. (20 hours p/w)

You will be joining the in-house team based in Manchester and will be required to carry out a varied remit inclusive of:

  • Complex Case Management

  • Health Assessments

  • Health Surveillance

  • Fitness for Work assessments

  • Workplace and Environment Risk Assessments

  • Safety Critical Medicals

  • Health Promotion

You will provide a strong customer focussed service and proactively support managers, employees, people services and the wider organisation with fitness for work advice and management of health conditions in the workplace.

Salary – Circa £43,000 pro-rata dept on experience + benefits

  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

  • Group and/or individual Clinical supervision facilitated by a Clinical Psychologist.

Skill Requirement

  • NMC Registered Nurse

  • Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health (ideally on part 3 of NMC Register).

  • Proven Occupational Health experience including case management, pre-employment and fitness for task assessments.

  • Competency in undertaking SCMs and advising on fitness for task of employees.

  • Acts in a professional and knowledgeable manner and can command the confidence of line and operational managers, employees, trade unions, external partners and other stakeholders.

  • Be able to prioritise and manage their time effectively (Essential)

  • Can work confidently and independently whist operating within a team framework (Essential)

  • Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)

  • Full UK Driving License and Vehicle
