​OH Medical has a great opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider in an onsite role in Nottingham with occasional travel to Burton.

The Remit 

This full time permanent role covers the full remit of Occupational Health including SCMs, case management, health and wellbeing advice. Your duties will include:

• Case management for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and OH advice requests

• Provide expert advice relating to Occupational Health including the OH Advice Line

• Carry out safety critical medicals, fitness medicals and health surveillance

• Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance provided, ensuring the correct advice is given in relation to fitness is communicated and escalating where appropriate.

Skill Requirements

• Registration with NMC Part 1 Essential Part 3 - Preferred

• OH Qualified – Diploma/Degree

• Have the ability to work effectively independently and also within a team framework

• Be IT literate

• Experience of Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Drug and Alcohol screening, Case Management, Fitness for role assessment, Driver Medicals and Night-worker medicals - Essential 

• Trained in HAVS - Preferred 

• Full Drivers Licence
