Occupational Health Technician / Occupational Health Advisor – Corby
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Job Type: Permanent
Occupational Health Technician (OHT): £27,000 – £30,000 FTE (pro rata, 1 day per week onsite)
Occupational Health Advisor (OHA): £46,500 – £49,000 FTE (1 day onsite + additional onsite and remote days available )
The Role
We are recruiting for either an Occupational Health Technician or an Occupational Health Advisor to support the client site in Corby of a forward thinking occupational health provider. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians looking for consistent onsite work with flexibility to build additional working days around it.
Occupational Health Technician Duties
Deliver workplace health surveillance onsite
Audiometry and spirometry testing
Accurate record keeping and data entry
Support workplace health monitoring programmes
Act as a professional onsite representative of the Occupational Health service
Occupational Health Advisor Duties
Case management and sickness absence management
Fitness for work assessments
Health surveillance (audiometry, spirometry, skin assessments, HAVS Tier 1–2, Tier 3 desirable)
Pre-employment medicals and questionnaires
Health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
Provide evidence-based workplace advice to managers
Requirements
Occupational Health Advisor Candidates must be an NMC registered Nurse with minimum 2 years Occupational Health experience.
Up-to-date certifications in audiometry and spirometry
Experience working onsite with clients
Strong communication and IT skills
High standard of clinical documentation
Able to attend client site in Corby
