OH Medical is seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to join one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health services. Working Full-time in an established Occupational Health team in Preston.

The Remit:

This role will cover the full remit of Occupational Health, Case Management, health surveillance activities, fitness for work, travel health, emergency and health promotion.

  • Case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.

  • Providing evidence based written reports

  • Undertaking health surveillance activities and evaluating the results of medicals 

  • Provide other OH services where required i.e vaccinations, travel health services, ergonomic advice, or health promotion

Skills Required

  • Be a registered nurse with NMC Part 1 (Essential) Part 3 (Desirable)

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma (Desirable)

  • Case Management & Health Surveillance experience (Essential)

  • Administration of vaccinations and travel health services (Desirable)

  • Be able to prioritise and manage their time effectively (Essential)

  • Can work confidently and independently whist operating within a team framework (Essential)

  • Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)
