OH Medical is currently seeking an Occupational Health Advisor based in Salisbury. This is a full-time permanent position joining a market leading Occupational Health provider. This is an exciting role supporting Occupational Health Services across a prestigious client contract.

Summary of role

·         Remote, face to face, and on-site work with the client in Salisbury

·         Deliver and maintain the highest standards of healthcare in line with the providers standards while ensuring the client’s expectations are delivered

·         Telephone and face to face/video assessments

·         Health Surveillance and Fitness for Work Assessments

·         Promote the health of all employees by developing and participating in health promotion programmes in conjunction with national health events and the requirements of the client

Requirements

·         NMC-Registered General Nurse

·         Occupational Health qualification

·         Previous experience working within occupational health, preferably within a team environment

·         Proven experience in case management and risk assessment. Must be competent at making complex clinical occupational health decisions and giving appropriate advice to management at all levels

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to influence and gain the support of line managers, HR Managers and employees throughout client organisations

·         Good organisational skills both to manage own workload and the workflow within the OH team and provider organisation

·         Problem solving skills to devise workable solutions to the occupational health issues identified

·         Recent experience delivering immunisations and venepuncture would be beneficial

·         Computer literate
