​​​​​​​​OH Medical are recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to join the inhouse team of a manufacturing company in a Full Time permanent role based in Sheffield. 
 


The Remit:

As the Occupational Health Advisor in this role, you will provide a first class full remit Occupational Health Service. Your duties will include:

  • Health Surveillance

  • Case Management

  • Provide health data analysis to drive compliance and inform policy development

  • Ensure the safekeeping of all confidential medical records in accordance with GDPR guidelines ensuring auditable information is in place

  • Develop and deliver safe working policies and health promotions schemes to maximise employee wellbeing and minimise absence rates

  • Manage first aider levels including training and competency to ensure sufficient levels of to meet requirements for response to provide response in an emergency.

  • Provide medical advice, support and counselling to employees where required and guide the company on progress and adaptations as appropriate

Skills Required

  • NMC Registered Nurse.

  • Qualified to degree / diploma level in Occupational Health

  • Experience of undertaking both case management and health surveillance

  • Good IT Literacy including Excel

  • Strong written and Verbal Communication Skills

  • Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills

  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team

  • Working days are flexible but successful candidate must be able to offer flexibility to occasionally  work evenings or weekends to capture all colleagues across the business
