OH Medical are recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to join the inhouse team of a manufacturing company in a Full Time permanent role based in Sheffield.
The Remit:
As the Occupational Health Advisor in this role, you will provide a first class full remit Occupational Health Service. Your duties will include:
Health Surveillance
Case Management
Provide health data analysis to drive compliance and inform policy development
Ensure the safekeeping of all confidential medical records in accordance with GDPR guidelines ensuring auditable information is in place
Develop and deliver safe working policies and health promotions schemes to maximise employee wellbeing and minimise absence rates
Manage first aider levels including training and competency to ensure sufficient levels of to meet requirements for response to provide response in an emergency.
Provide medical advice, support and counselling to employees where required and guide the company on progress and adaptations as appropriate
Skills Required
NMC Registered Nurse.
Qualified to degree / diploma level in Occupational Health
Experience of undertaking both case management and health surveillance
Good IT Literacy including Excel
Strong written and Verbal Communication Skills
Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills
Able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
Working days are flexible but successful candidate must be able to offer flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to capture all colleagues across the business
