OH Medical is currently seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to join our well-established client on a full-time, permanent basis in Cambridge.

The main duties and responsibilities include:  

• Clinical Assessment & Treatments

• Drug & Alcohol testing

• Fitness for work medicals

• Support to the First Aid Provision

• Health Promotion activities

Salary & Benefits

£34,000 - £36,000

25 days holiday, Health cash plan, perkbox

Essential Skills

• Registered general nurse or qualification in adult nursing

• UK Driving license

• Good clinical knowledge and expertise for interpretation of health screening / surveillance results

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation

• Good PC/ IT skills

• Excellent clinical skills, including suturing and cannulation

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good judgement and decision-making skills

• Presentation skills – for delivery of group health promotion initiatives, health and safety meetings etc.

• Ability to organise work demands and priorities to achieve goals

Desired Skills

• Speciality qualification in OH.

• Experience of developing and implementing health care initiatives

• Corporate OH experience

• A&E experience
