Occupational Health Advisor / Occupational Health Nurse
Uxbridge (on-site)
Part-time – 2 days per week + 6 additional days per year
£37,000 – £43,000 FTE (pro rata, depending on experience)
OH Medical is working in partnership with a leading UK Occupational Health provider to recruit an experienced Occupational Health Advisor / Nurse for a site-based role near Uxbridge. This is a great opportunity for an OH professional looking for a part-time, stable role delivering high-quality occupational health services within a supportive, well-established OH set-up.
The Role
In this key Occupational Health Nurse role, you’ll provide day-to-day clinical occupational health support to employees while working closely with site stakeholders to ensure a consistent, high-quality service.
What you’ll be doing as an Occupational Health Nurse
Undertaking independent medical assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
Managing case management and pre-placement questionnaires
Delivering health surveillance, safety-critical medicals, and biological monitoring
Providing travel health advice and supporting on-site first aiders
Coordinating health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, company policies, and professional guidelines
Maintaining clinical rooms and keeping accurate equipment calibration logs
What we’re looking for in an Occupational Health Nurse
Previous experience working within Occupational Health is essential
Strong background in case management and health surveillance
Experience with safety-critical assessments
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload confidently
Current NMC registration
