OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse within the Cambridgeshire area who will be responsible for delivering a range of Occupational Health Services. You will be homebased with travel around Cambridge & Peterborough in a full time (will also consider part time) permanent position working for a leading Occupational Health Provider. This is a really exciting, varied role and a great opportunity for Practice Nurses with experience in immunisations and venepuncture.

Role Summary

  • Delivering Immunisation & Occupational Health clinics to a prestigious client covering a variety of their sites across Cambridgeshire

  • Pre-placement questionnaires

  • Immunisations

  • Vaccinations

  • Onboarding for new staff members


Experience, skills and knowledge required for the role

  • Registered General Nurse on first level of the Register

  • Experience in administering immunisations in an occupational health/travel health/general practice setting; immunisation training in compliance with the Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training, making important and objective decisions about care, advising clients, and maintaining clear and concise documentation

  • Experience delivering vaccinations

  • Registration and continuous professional development maintained in accordance with the requirements of Post Registration Education and Practice (PREP) standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

  • Full Driving Licence

  • Ability to work to specified standards within the Immunisations and phlebotomy service

  • Ability to use and be effective with IT with knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • The ability to manage workloads through good organisational and time management skills

  • Good interpersonal skills, with an understanding of people management issues and the ability to deal with these effectively
