OH Medical is currently seeking a confident and experienced Occupational Health Technician to join our well-established client in the South West of the UK. You will be joining their existing in-house team on a full-time, permanent basis.
You will be required to travel to client sites in the South West & Wales so having access to your own transport is essential due to the requirement to work across the agreed geographical area to undertake health surveillance clinics. Some overnight stays may be necessary.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
Undertake spirometry, audiology, skin assessment and Hand Arm Vibration assessments under the indirect supervision of an Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor
Undertake vision, colour vision, height, weight, blood pressure and pulse assessments
Undertake Display Screen Equipment, lone worker and night worker assessments
Generate clear, concise and accurate outcome reports
Report any abnormal findings or causes for concern
Ensure care, correct use and calibration of equipment
Travel to the site as required
Admin and paperwork duties.
Essential:
Full UK Driving License
Your own vehicle
Previous Occupational Health and Health Surveillance experience
Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this role is up to £27,500 per annum (Depending on experience). The benefits include:
