OH Medical is recruiting for an Occupational Health Technician to join a growing Occupational Health provider based from their Warrington clinic, with travel to client sites across the UK. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will operate a fully equipped Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), delivering health surveillance services across a range of industries while working as part of a supportive and professional Occupational Health team.
Duties
Travel to client sites across the UK to deliver occupational health assessments and health surveillance services.
Drive and operate the company's fully equipped Mobile Medical Unit (MMU).
Conduct a range of health surveillance activities in line with HSE guidance and company protocols, including:
Audiometry
Lung function testing
Drug and alcohol testing
Baseline measurements including height, weight, blood pressure and urinalysis
Prepare, maintain and calibrate occupational health equipment for site visits.
Set up and support mobile occupational health clinics at client locations.
Maintain accurate clinical and health surveillance records in line with GDPR and company policies.
Ensure all consent forms and associated documentation are completed and securely stored.
Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of Occupational Health services.
Undertake occasional overnight stays and work away from home when required.
Criteria
Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Technician.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly to client sites.
Ability to work independently and manage workload autonomously.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively within a busy environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Professional, customer-focused approach with a strong work ethic.
