Job Title: Occupational Hygienist
Location: London and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus company car, 25 days holiday

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Hygienist to provide comprehensive occupational hygiene services to one of our clients in London and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of workplaces to identify potential health hazards and develop effective control measures to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive workplace assessments to identify potential health hazards such as chemical, biological, and physical agents.
- Providing expert advice on occupational health hazards and control measures.
- Developing and implementing effective control measures to mitigate occupational health risks.
- Conducting exposure monitoring and sampling for airborne contaminants, noise, and other physical agents.
- Providing guidance on personal protective equipment (PPE) selection and use.
- Delivering comprehensive training and support to clients on occupational hygiene practices.
- Collaborating with clients to develop effective occupational hygiene programs and policies.
- Keeping abreast of industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and provide up-to-date advice to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational hygiene, environmental science, or related field.
- Certification in occupational hygiene (e.g., CMIOSH, BOHS) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in conducting occupational hygiene assessments and exposure monitoring.
- Strong understanding of workplace health hazards and control measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel within London and surrounding areas. Occasional overnight stays may be required.
- Valid driver's license.
