OH Medical is currently seeking a home based Occupational Therapist for a part-time (3 days) permanent position as part of a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team of a market leading Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services Provider.
The Remit:
In this role you will be responsible for the telephone and video consultations for initial assessments and remote treatment of clients nationwide. As well as face to face appointments in the local area of Yorkshire.
Responsible for all aspects of own workload
Assisting employees with health problems or disabilities to remain in work or return to work by advising on functional capacity, job demands, ergonomics and rehabilitation programmes
Contribute to the development of Occupational Therapy Service and Health Service, within the region and nationally
Requirements
Full registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist (Essential)
Eligible for membership of Royal College of Occupational Therapists (Essential)
BSc in Occupational Therapy (Essential)
Professional knowledge acquired through degree, in functional capacity evaluation, workplace ergonomics, objective / standardised evaluation (Essential)
Ability to communicate specialist condition related information to employees, other health professional and non-clinical customers (Essential)
A knowledge of clinical governance and risk management
Knowledge of employment law and the Industrial Tribunal process (Essential)
Demonstrates excellent written, verbal communication skills (Essential)
Full Driving (Essential)
Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)
