​OH Medical is currently seeking a ?Senior Occupational Health Physiotherapist based in the Northampton area. This is a hybrid position working part homebased part site based. We are also open to full or part time working arrangements. You will be joining a fantastic organisation working within the Occupational Health sector. Salary up to £42,000 + £1,000 sign on bonus + fantastic benefits package.

About the role

The company is experiencing year on year growth, this has presented an exciting opportunity to join the Occupational Health team in delivering MSK physiotherapy services in Bedford.

Our Client is looking for a well-organised and experienced Physiotherapist, ideally, but not necessarily with an Occupational Health background, to deliver quality clinical care for our client’s employees suffering with a musculoskeletal condition. You will undertake comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of Client employees with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge are achieved. 

As an Occupational Health Physiotherapist,in addition to the above, you will have the opportunity to train in, and deliver a full range of complimentary additional services, which include –

·         Manual Handling Training

·         DSE Assessments

·         Ergonomic Risk Assessments

·         Workplace Task Analysis

·         Functional Capacity Evaluation

·         Functional Restoration Programs

·         Health and Wellbeing Initiatives

·         Vehicle and Driver Assessments

·         Manager & Employee Awareness

You’ll be positive, constructive, and approachable, along with being registered with the HCPC and a fully qualified Physiotherapist. We’re looking for you to manage a varied caseload of MSK patients, as well as the ability to work under pressure and being committed to CPD. 

You should have the desire to facilitate improvement in yourself and the service. You will have excellent and confident communication skills with both employees and colleagues alike.  This an exciting opportunity to develop skills in working and communicating in a wider Multiple Disciplinary Team of Human Resource, Health and Safety and Occupational Health Advisors.
