Summary
An excellent interim opportunity is available for an experienced Property Safety Business Partner to provide specialist Property and Facilities SHE expertise across a large, multi-site UK property portfolio. The role will support property safety compliance, internal assurance and preparations relating to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
This is a network-wide position covering sites across Southern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with attendance expected at key locations including Godstone, Sittingbourne, Dumfries, Glasgow and Antrim. The successful candidate will provide technical oversight and assurance while working closely with Health & Safety, Property, Facilities Management and Environment teams.
Duties
Complete DSEAR risk assessments across identified operational sites.
Conduct property safety audits and support the closure of corrective actions.
Produce guidance for the safe storage of dangerous and explosive substances.
Support completion of outstanding water and fire risk assessment remedial actions.
Develop property safety audit templates aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Create a risk-based property safety audit process and schedule.
Review property safety risk assessments, procedures and policies, identifying compliance gaps.
Develop practical compliance roadmaps and support new property asset development.
Criteria
Proven experience within Property or Facilities SHE Management.
Strong knowledge of UK property safety legislation and its practical application.
Experience managing health and safety requirements across multi-site property portfolios.
Demonstrable experience carrying out DSEAR risk assessments.
Experience relating to new property developments, CDM and contractor management.
Relevant professional Health & Safety qualification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
Ability to identify compliance gaps and translate legislative requirements into clear corrective actions.
