About the role
OH Medical is supporting a leading Occupational Health provider in expanding its remote clinical team and is looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to deliver high-quality case management services across a varied client portfolio.
This is a fully home-based position where you will manage a diverse caseload and provide evidence-based fitness for work advice that helps employees remain in work safely and supports organisations with practical, compliant recommendations.
You’ll be supported by an experienced clinical leadership team with access to ongoing CPD, training and development while maintaining genuine work-life balance through remote working.
Occupational Health Advisor Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied case management caseload via telephone and video consultations
Provide clear, practical fitness for work advice and recommendations
Produce high quality occupational health reports for managers and HR
Support absence management and workplace adjustment planning
Work in line with current occupational health legislation and best practice
Maintain accurate clinical records and confidentiality standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Remote Occupational Health Advisor Requirements
Essential
NMC Registered Nurse
Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma)
Previous occupational health case management experience
Strong report writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Good IT skills and time management
Desirable
NMC Part 3 / SCPHN registration
MSc in Occupational Health or related field
RN/RMN dual registration
Experience across multiple industry sectors
Ergonomics, training or mentoring experience
OHA Working Pattern
Home-based within the UK only
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
Working from abroad is not permitted
Flexible: full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
