OH Medical are recruiting for a Senior Occupational Health Technician to join a Leading Occupational Provider. You will can be based from either Warrington or Ellesmere Port in a Full-Time permanent role.
The Remit:
As the Senior Occupational Health Technician in this role you will provide a first class Occupational Health Service whilst leading a team of 5 Occupational Health Technicians. Your duties will include:
Leading a team of Occupational Health Technicians
Health Surveillance
Audiometry and Spirometry
Skin assessments and Hand Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2)
Fitness for work medicals (i.e. driver, working at height medicals or vision screening)
Drug & alcohol testing
Venepuncture
Wellbeing medical and health promotion
Driving a mobile screening unit Nationwide (including UK & Ireland)
Skills Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Occupational Health
Experience in health surveillance and fitness for work medicals
Proven management and leadership skills
Able to complete overnight stays and extensive travel throughout the UK (overnight stays maybe Monday – Friday depending on client requirements)
Hold a full UK driving licence and experience and/or willingness to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
IT Literate including - MS office suite and/or electronic medical records systems, with ability to produce technical reports and interpret data
Ability to work independently and manage own workload
Great communication skills – written and verbal
