OH Medical is currently seeking a Senior Physiotherapist in Sunderland. This is a full-time permanent position where you will be working on the client site as part of a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team of a market leading Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services Provider.

 

The Remit:

 

In this role you will be responsible for managing an effective occupational physiotherapy department. As the Senior Physiotherapist, you will:

 

  • Ensure al Physiotherapists comply with company policies and professional governing body standards

  • Provided leadership, support and guidance to the physio team, whilst handling all line management duties including appraisals, attendance, recruitment etc.

  • Manage your own caseload undertaking assessments, treatment and rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries.

  • Oversee maintenance of the department facilities and equipment

  • Contribute to the development of courses and training activities to prevent work related injuries

  • Assist in the collection of appropriate data on work related MSK problem and its analysis

  • Provide guidance and support on physical ergonomic and MSK issues

  • Advise on ergonomic policies and guidance to prevent/reduce MSK injuries

  • Help to develop ergonomic tools and training aids to support the development and education of staff

  • Oversee the management of complex cases that involve multiple people or may result in injury claims

Requirements

  • Be a registered Physiotherapist with the HCPC (Essential)

  • Be a registered Physiotherapist with the CSP (Essential)

  • Qualified to Degree level in Physiotherapy (Essential)

  • Experience in MSK and ergonomics (Essential)

  • Demonstrates excellent written, verbal communication skills (Essential)

  • Full Driving (Essential)

  • Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)
