OH Medical are recruiting for an Occupational Health Responder Technician in permanent Full Time position for a leading Occupational Health Provider in an onsite role in Barrow in Furness.
The Remit:
As the Occupational Health Responder Technician, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver onsite Occupational Health and Treatment services. Operating on a 24/7 basis you will be required to work a combination of day shifts and night shifts to help deliver a seamless service. Your duties will include:
Responding to on-site medical emergencies providing care in line with TMIC (FPOS) training.
Undertaking health screening including general baseline measurements and urinalysis
Deliver health surveillance including audiometry and lung function testing
Assisting in the provision of a minor treatment service
Delivering health promotion
Ensuring all equipment is serviceable, clean and fit for purpose; To include the regular monitoring and recording of equipment performance indicators
Handling and disposing of all clinical waste
Undertaking non-clinical tasks as requested e.g. filing, administration etc
Skills Required
Emergency responder skills and competence
First aid and health and safety expertise
Previous OH experience preferred
Good IT Literacy
Strong written and Verbal Communication Skills
Self motivated with good time management and organisational skills
Able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
