​​OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role in Chester. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a hybrid post with your working week split between clinic-based, onsite client visits and opportunities to work from home.

The Role:

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established multidisciplinary Occupational Health Team to deliver a first-class full remit Occupational Health Service. Your duties will include:

  • Delivering expert case management services, producing professional, comprehensive evidence-based reports concerning sickness absence, fitness for work, and other OH-related advice.

  • Conducting pre-employment screening, fitness medicals and health surveillance as necessary, adhering to best practice standards, policies and protocols.

  • Assessing the outcomes of medicals and health surveillance, ensuring accurate fitness advice is given and escalating when clinically necessary.

  • Providing Workplace assessments and reporting on potential risks to employee health.

Required Skills:

To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:

  • NMC Registered Nurse

  • Qualified to Degree / Diploma Level in Occupational Health Preferred But Not Essential

  • Effective Time Management and Organisational Skills with the Ability to Manage Your Own Workload and Work to Strict Deadlines.

  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work

  • Knowledge and Experience of Case Management & Health Surveillance.

  • Strong IT Literacy is Essential.

  • Able to travel to client sites when required weekly
