OH Medical are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor for an exciting opportunity in Newton for an Inhouse Occupational Health role.
Our client is bringing their Occupational Health Service inhouse and are looking for an OHA who will promote the Company's Wellbeing Objective by developing and delivering a progressive Occupational Health programme.
The Remit
This will be a full remit Occupational Health role working part time 2-3 days per week. Your duties will include:
Designing and implementing a wellbeing programme to promote a healthy lifestyle to employees
Providing support and advice to employees, line managers and HR
Identifying Health hazards relating to work areas
Case management including Sickness Absence
Fitness to work assessments
Health Screening
Health Surveillance including Skin assessments and Forklift Truck Medicals
Drug and Alcohol Testing
Organising Mental Health First Aider Training
Skill Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse (Essential) Part 3 registered (Highly Desirable)
Occupational Health Qualification (Highly Desirable)
Minimum 3 years Occupational Health experience
Experience and training working with Mental Health issues
Flexibility around work hours to provide service cover for all shift patterns
Excellent communication and time management skills
Good IT Literacy
