OH Medical is partnering with a leading Occupational Health provider to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse based on-site in Bridgwater. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a high-performing multidisciplinary team within a complex, safety-critical environment, where your clinical expertise will directly support workforce health, safety, and wellbeing.
The Role:
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering a professional and compassionate clinical service, including:
Delivering health surveillance programmes and managing escalations from OHTs
Conducting fitness for work assessments
Supporting individuals with minor illness and injury presentations
Assessing new clients within Occupational Health
Providing clinical advice, guidance, and support to employees and managers
Supporting the Senior OH Advisor in maintaining clinical standards
Contributing to health & wellbeing initiatives across the site
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (including emergency care)
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in speaking with OHN candidates who are:
An NMC Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience (e.g. Practice Nurse)
Experienced in, or have a strong understanding of, health surveillance
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment
Confident using IT systems (including databases, Outlook, Word, Excel)
A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative setting
Keen to learn, develop, and contribute to continuous improvement
Working Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday
08:00 – 16:00
Location
Based on-site in Bridgwater, Somerset
No remote working
