OH Medical is currently seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to undertake a Full or Part-Time Permanent role in Gateshead and the Northeast. This exciting opportunity will see you joining a forward-thinking Occupational Health Provider to deliver a first-class Occupational Health Service.
The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for either an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to take a step up or for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established Occupational Health team to deliver a professional Occupational Health service for employees. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in:
Providing advice and guidance regarding Occupational Health including case management services
Carry out health surveillance programs for staff in alignment with legislation
Stay informed about current Occupational Health developments, attending relevant courses, conferences, and training opportunities.
Undertake workplace assessments, and promote health and safety in the work environment.
Required Skills:
To thrive in this Occupational Health Advisor role, you'll need:
NMC Registration
Post-registration Occupational Health qualification or NMC specialist registration is preferred but not essential.
2 years of Occupational Health experience, is preferable but not essential if you have experience in the following: Audiometry, spirometry vision testing
Previous experience and certification in HAVs Assessments T1 – T3 is desirable but training can be provided.
Proficient IT skills and the ability to utilise various computer packages.
Demonstrated sound clinical skills with the ability to make informed judgments based on risk assessment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Salary & Benefits:

Salary Circa £38- £48,000DOE– Pro Rata if Part-Time
