Lead the Way in Occupational Health – Team Leader Opportunity (London)

OH Medical is recruiting on behalf of a leading occupational health provider for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor Team Leader who’s ready to take the reins of a small clinical team and make a real impact on service delivery and workplace wellbeing.

This is a hands-on, onsite leadership role based across multiple London sites, stretching from Euston to West Ruislip, all easily accessible via public transport. If you enjoy being visible, involved and close to your team and stakeholders, this one’s worth a closer look

The Role

You’ll be responsible for leading and supporting a multidisciplinary clinical team, ensuring high-quality occupational health and minor treatment services are delivered consistently and in line with contractual requirements. Alongside clinical leadership, you’ll play a key role in developing people, shaping culture and working closely with operational and commercial teams.

This is a full-time, onsite position, so occupational health experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Line manage and lead a clinical team of nurses and technicians

  • Act as the clinical lead, delivering OH services and minor treatments

  • Recruit, induct and complete regular competency and performance reviews

  • Support audits and ensure compliance with professional and clinical standards

  • Work closely with stakeholders across multiple sites and attend site meetings

  • Produce and present monthly MI and KPI reports

  • Coordinate and support workplace wellbeing initiatives

About You

  • Registered General Nurse with SCPHN and Part 3 NMC registration

  • Proven leadership experience within a multidisciplinary OH setting

  • Strong background in occupational health is essential

  • Experience in A&E, case management, vaccinations and mentoring OH students is desirable

  • Confident communicator with strong IT, organisation and time management skills

  • Solid understanding of OH legislation and best practice

Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (with some flexibility required.

Location

  • Multiple London sites from Euston to West Ruislip

  • Travel within TFL zones covered

  • No parking available, so comfort with public transport is essential

Salary & Benefits

  • Up to £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
