OH Medical are recruiting for an inhouse Occupational Health Advisor for a full time permanent position in Port Talbot
You will be an experienced (ideally qualified) Occupational Health Nurse who is used to working in a large OH department delivering a first class full remit service. Your duties will include:
Health surveillance: including conducting Pre-Placement and Safety Critical Medicals, Due Cause Testing and routine health surveillance / screening.
Providing expert advice and practical support to Line Managers and HR for sickness absence cases
External referrals for cases as appropriate
Provide the necessary management of and support at the regular on-site 3rd party clinics.
The Requirement
NMC Part 1 Registered General Nurse Essential
NMC Part 3 Registered Highly Desirable
Hold a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health Highly Desirable
Post qualification experience (gen nursing or oh qualification) in an Occupational Health setting.
Certified to conduct in HAVS Assessments Highly Desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills
Strong IT Literacy
