OH Medical is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Occupational Health Service Manager based in Cambridge.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery, development and strategic direction of a well-established Occupational Health service supporting a large and diverse workforce.

You will lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, ensure compliance with statutory requirements and drive continuous improvement across the service.

Duties

  • Lead and manage a team of Occupational Health professionals

  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery, referrals and clinic activity

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and employment legislation

  • Drive service development and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Work closely with HR, H&S and wider stakeholders

  • Manage complex case referrals and support decision making

  • Maintain clinical governance, policies and accreditation standards

  • Monitor performance, KPIs and service demand

Criteria

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health

  • Senior leadership experience within an OH service

  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health, H&S and employment law

  • Experience managing teams and driving service improvements

  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder skills

  • Confident working strategically and operationally
