OH Medical is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse or Occupational Health Advisor to join one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health services. Working Part Time (2 days per week) in an established Occupational Health team in Plymouth.
 

 

The Remit:

 

  • Undertaking fitness medicals and health surveillance that meet best practice requirements and are in line with our policies and protocols

  • Evaluating the results of medicals and surveillance provided, and ensure that the correct advice in relation to fitness is communicated, escalating where clinically appropriate

  • If an OHA undertaking case management

  • Provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to OH 

 

Skills Required
 

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma (Essential)

  • Registration with NMC Part 1 (Essential) NMC Part 3 Registration (Desired for OHA)

  • Experience of working in an OH environment in a nursing/advisory capacity, across a range of OH activities (Essential)

  • Case Management experience (Essential for OHA)

  • Can work effectively independently and also within a team framework (Essential)

  • Be IT literate (essential)

  • General medicals and health surveillance (Essential)

  • Experience working in an engineering environment (Desirable)

  • Experience, or a keen interest, in the delivery of health and wellbeing promotion (Desirable)
