OH Medical is seeking an RMN to join one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health services. Working Full time in an established Occupational Health team in Plymouth.
 

 

The Remit:

 

  • Provide case management for referrals for OH advice when mental health is a factor.

  • Developing policy and strategy for managing mental health

  • Implementing a model for professional support for the Mental Health First Aiders  

  • Informal coaching and support of Clinical staff with mental health cases 

  • Design and deliver training / awareness sessions to Mental Health First Aiders and Managers around mental health and the workplace 

  • Deliver 1-1 sessions using CBT / Counselling / Coaching techniques

  • Attending and supporting Mental Health and Well-being Working groups.

  • Use professional and local knowledge to assess, refer and signpost employees to appropriate support outside Occupational Health 


Skills Required
 

  • NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse (Essential) SPMH Specialist practitioner: Mental health (Desirable)

  • Post grad Mental Health Qualifications and/or extensive experience of working within a Mental Health environment.  (Essential)

  • Experience in work related issues and mental health first aid. (Essential)

  • Experience delivering training in stress resilience (Essential)

  • CBT trained, plus experience in other forms of counselling (Essential)

  • Experienced in the implementation and training of with Mental Health First Aid. (Essential) 

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma (Desirable)

  • BACP Registered Counsellor (Desirable)

  • Accredited certificates in counselling and CBT (Desirable)​​​​​​​
