OH Medical is currently seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Health Technician to join a growing Occupational Health team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, health screening, and promoting employee wellbeing. You’ll be delivering a range of health surveillance and screening services in line with company protocols and best practice guidelines.

Duties:

As an Occupational Health Technician, you will carry out a range of health assessments including:

  • Audiometry

  • Spirometry (lung function testing)

  • Skin assessments

  • Height, weight, BMI and blood pressure measurements

  • Visual acuity assessments

  • HAVS Tier 1 & 2 screening

  • Urinalysis and health promotion activities

  • Alcohol & drug testing (collection officer duties)

  • Complete and send fitness reports following assessments.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and support administrative tasks when required.

  • Ensure clinical equipment is maintained and calibrated.

  • Travel to client sites nationwide (with occasional overnight stays when agreed in advance).

  • Operate from clinics or a Clinical Mobile Unit when required.

Essential:

  • Interested in health screening and wellbeing

  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel nationwide

  • Reliable, organised, and professional

  • Strong communication and IT skills

  • Able to work autonomously

  • Willing to undertake training in the required screening activities

Desirable:

  • Previous healthcare or occupational health experience

  • Experience in health surveillance or screening

  • Enjoys health promotion activities

Salary & Benefits:

  • £32,000 per annum
