​OH Medical is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time permanent position as part of a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team of a market leading Occupational Health Provider in a hybrid role working remotely and onsite at client locations in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.


The Remit:

​This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of occupational health professionals. Your duties will include:

  • To be accountable for all aspects of own workload

  • Advise on functional capacity, job demands, ergonomics and rehabilitation programmes for employees with complex health problems or disabilities, assisting them to remain at or return to work

  • Provide expert advice on OT issues within the organisation 

  • Contribute to the development of OT Service 


Requirements

​

  • Full registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist (Essential)

  • Eligible for membership of Royal College of Occupational Therapists (Essential)

  • BSc in Occupational Therapy (Essential)

  • Professional knowledge acquired through degree, in  functional capacity evaluation, workplace ergonomics, objective / standardised evaluation (Essential)

  • Ability to communicate specialist condition related information to employees, other health professional and non-clinical customers (Essential)

  • A knowledge of clinical governance and risk management

  • Demonstrates excellent written, verbal communication skills (Essential)

  • Full Driving (Essential)

  • Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)

  • Evidence of being able to work independently and as part of a multi-professional/multi-agency team

  • Knowledge of employment law and the Industrial Tribunal process

  • Full Driving Licence
