OH Medical is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time permanent position as part of a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team of a market leading Occupational Health Provider in Manchester or Leeds.
The Remit:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of occupational health professionals. Your duties will include:
To be accountable for all aspects of own workload
Advise on functional capacity, job demands, ergonomics and rehabilitation programmes for employees with complex health problems or disabilities, assisting them to remain at or return to work
Provide expert advice on OT issues within the organisation
Contribute to the development of OT Service
Requirements
Full registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist (Essential)
Eligible for membership of Royal College of Occupational Therapists (Essential)
BSc in Occupational Therapy (Essential)
Professional knowledge acquired through degree, in functional capacity evaluation, workplace ergonomics, objective / standardised evaluation (Essential)
Ability to communicate specialist condition related information to employees, other health professional and non-clinical customers (Essential)
A knowledge of clinical governance and risk management
Demonstrates excellent written, verbal communication skills (Essential)
Full Driving (Essential)
Demonstrate good IT literacy (Essential)
Evidence of being able to work independently and as part of a multi-professional/multi-agency team
Knowledge of employment law and the Industrial Tribunal process
Full Driving Licence
