Are you a dynamic and experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor ready for a new challenge? Then look no further! OH Medical is currently looking to hire a Senior OHA to join our client and their in-house service located in Durham on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch occupational health services. Your duties will include:
Oversee case management and consult or escalate complex cases to the Medical Advisor when necessary.
Identify and report health-related/sickness absence trends and conduct appropriate health promotions.
Provide advice on matters related to employee health while adhering to confidentiality constraints.
Devise, revise, review, and implement occupational health policies and clinical procedures.
Regularly audit and monitor work to ensure staff adherence to clinical guidance, procedures, and competence.
Hold line manager responsibility for an OH Advisor and administrative team members, including 1:1s, audits, appraisals, and training plans.
Manage the ill health retirement and injury award process for staff in collaboration with HR.
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
An Occupational Health Diploma/Degree.
Previous Management experience.
Experience with spirometry, audiometry and vision screening.
IT skills.
Salary & Benefits:
