Senior Occupational Health Nurse Plymouth

OH Medical are recruiting an experienced, Senior Occupational Health Nurse to join the established team of a forward-thinking Occupational Health Provider. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Plymouth where you will be leading and supporting the clinical team to deliver quality care tailored to client needs.

The Remit:

Working as part of an established team you will ensure the delivery of a first-class full remit Occupational Health Service. Your duties will include:

  • Evaluating the standard of service to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to the client.

  • Supporting and supervising staff to meet the strategic aims of the Emergency response, treatment and OH service.

  • Acting autonomously as a clinical lead providing treatment and OH services.

  • Creating and maintaining a positive and supportive team culture.

  • Supporting recruitment, selection and induction of team members.

  • Carrying out clinical competency reviews with individuals and audit clinical work including annual reviews, competency checklists and end-of-probation meetings.

  • Ensuring compliance with processes and guidelines such as maintaining suitably trained and qualified staff.

  • Coordinating programmes of audit for peers to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Maintaining professional standards of conduct and acting if others do not meet the company standards.

  • Working closely with sight operations and multiple stakeholders.

  • Analysing reports and presenting monthly MI and KPI information to teams.

  • Presenting clinical updates at monthly and quarterly meetings.

  • Helping to coordinate wellbeing initiatives

Skills Required:

  • NMC Registered Nurse

  • Hold a recognised Occupational Health Qualification (preferred)

  • Previous Occupational Health experience including case Management and Health Surveillance.

  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
