Occupational Health Advisor – East & West Midlands
Locations: Derby, Heanor, Coalville, Birmingham, Leicester, Oldbury Solvay
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 + benefits
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hrs (Mon–Fri, 08:30–16:30)

About the Role
OH Medical is recruiting on behalf of a leading Occupational Health provider for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join their Midlands team. This hybrid role involves regular travel to multiple client sites, usually four days onsite and one day remote.
You will deliver a full Occupational Health service, including health surveillance, pre-employment screening, fitness for work assessments, and management referrals, while supporting employee wellbeing and compliance with health & safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct health surveillance, including statutory and non-statutory checks
Complete pre-employment medical questionnaires and screening
Manage management referrals and sickness absence case management
Carry out fitness for work assessments and safety-critical evaluations
Advise employees on physical and mental health issues
Maintain high clinical standards in occupational healthcare
Complete 360 clinical minutes per day (8 x 45 mins)
Who We’re Looking For
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration
Experience as an Occupational Health Advisor
Case management experience in Occupational Health
OH Nursing qualification is desirable but not essential
Ability and willingness to travel to multiple client sites
