OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Hybrid Part-Time (3 days per week / 22.5 hours) Permanent role. This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to work from home 1 day per week with 2 days working on the client site in Sheffield.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary Occupational Health Team providing a first-class Occupational Health Service. Your duties will include:
Performing thorough clinical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments.
Categorising clinical musculoskeletal disorders based on their relation to work.
Preparing and submitting reports to management post-assessment and upon discharge, detailing the employee’s fitness for work and any necessary short-term, long-term, or permanent role adjustments.
Leading onsite exercise sessions to help rehabilitate employees with musculoskeletal injuries.
Communicating effectively with the broader occupational health team.
Conducting DSE Assessments and offering preventative advice and providing recommendations regarding necessary changes or equipment.
Identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risks they pose to musculoskeletal health.
Performing ergonomic risk assessments in collaboration with HSE Advisors to identify risks within specific areas.
Facilitating effective rehabilitation for staff with musculoskeletal disorders, regardless of whether they are work-related.
Collecting statistical data for report generation and participating in or organising health promotion events.
When opportunities arise mentor students from universities.
Required Skills:
To be the successful MSK Physiotherapist candidate for this role, you'll be:
A HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
A CSP Registered Physiotherapist
Qualified to Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
Previously experienced working in an Occupational Health setting with experience in Case Management and DSE Assessments is preferred.
An excellent communicator with skills, in both verbal and written communication, including proficiency in report writing.
Possess excellent IT Literacy and record-keeping skills
Knowledgeable in the treatment of MSK conditions and injuries
Able to work remotely
Experienced in both face-to-face and remote assessments
Salary & Benefits:
