OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full or Part-Time (min 3 days) Permanent role in Derby. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a hybrid post with 2 days onsite and the remainder of your week (1 - 3 days) working from home to deliver a first-class Occupational Health Service.
The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established multidisciplinary Occupational Health Team who are making a real and enduring impact on the lives of employees. Your duties will include:
Delivering expert case management services, producing professional, comprehensive evidence-based reports concerning sickness absence, fitness for work, and other OH-related advice.
Offering expert advice regarding legislative requirements and best practices within the OH field.
Conducting fitness medicals and health surveillance as necessary, adhering to best practice standards, policies and protocols.
Assessing the outcomes of medicals and health surveillance, ensuring accurate fitness advice is given and escalating when clinically necessary.
Required Skills:
To thrive in this Occupational Health Advisor role, you'll need:
NMC Registered Nurse
Qualified to Degree / Diploma Level in Occupational Health Preferred But Not Essential
Effective Time Management and Organisational Skills with the Ability to Manage Your Own Workload and Work to Strict Deadlines.
Ability to demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work
Knowledge and Experience of Case Management & Health Surveillance.
Strong IT Literacy is Essential.
Comprehensive Understanding of the Principles and Practice of Data Protection and Confidentiality in OH
