This is a part-time, 3-day-a-week position based at a single site in Kent — perfect for a confident and capable OH Nurse who thrives in a safety-critical environment.
About the Role
You'll be delivering high-quality occupational health services, including:
Safety critical medicals
Health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments
Drug and alcohol testing
Management referrals and return-to-work assessments
Advising on health campaigns and supporting health & wellbeing initiatives
You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in professional visits, ergonomic assessments, emergency response, and health promotion across the wider organisation.
What We’re Looking For
Registered Nurse with active NMC registration
Previous experience in Occupational Health, ideally in a safety-critical or high-risk environment
Skilled in delivering medical assessments and interpreting results
Confident using electronic medical record systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, adaptable, and able to work independently
Desirable:
OH qualification (Diploma or SCPHN)
Vaccination training and ergonomic assessment experience
Experience within rail, transport, or a similar sector
