OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full or Part-Time Permanent role in Manchester. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a hybrid post with your working week split between working from a site in the Manchester area and Homeworking

The Role:

This opportunity is predominately case management, but there will be the responsibility to support the screening nurses when necessary

  • Delivering expert case management services, producing professional, comprehensive evidence-based reports concerning sickness absence, fitness for work, and other OH-related advice.

  • Conducting pre-employment screening, fitness medicals and health surveillance as necessary, adhering to best practice standards, policies and protocols.

  • Assessing the outcomes of medicals and health surveillance, ensuring accurate fitness advice is given and escalating when clinically necessary.

  • Providing immunisations and Vaccinations

Required Skills:

To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:

  • NMC Registered Nurse

  • Qualified to Degree / Diploma Level in Occupational Health Preferred But Not Essential

  • Effective Time Management and Organisational Skills with the Ability to Manage Your Own Workload and Work to Strict Deadlines.

  • Knowledge and Experience of Case Management & Health Surveillance.

  • Strong IT Literacy is Essential.
