OH Medical is currently seeking an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role This exciting Clinic & Client Site based role will see you join a multidisciplinary team in working in provider Clinics in Neath and Newport as well as travelling to client sites in the surrounding South Wales area.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for either an experienced Occupational Health Screening Nurse or for a practice Nurse entering into their first OH role to provide a first-class Occupational Health Screening Service operating to high clinical standards. Your duties will include:
Preplacement Screening
Fitness for Work Medicals and Health Surveillance including Audiometry, Spirometry and Vision testing.
Phlebotomy
Vaccinations and Immunisations, including Hep B and Flu.
Health Promotion
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Screening Nurse candidate for this role, you'll be:
An NMC Registered Nurse
Previously experienced in Occupational Health Nursing is preferred, but not essential, as full training can be provided
Previously experienced in a Practice Nurse or A&E Nurse
Hold current training certificates for the following: Immunisations and Vaccinations, Anaphylaxis, Basic Life Support.
Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, organisational, and administrative abilities.
IT Literate, prior experience of using Orchid would be highly beneficial, but a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
An excellent communicator with skills in both written and verbal communication.
Hold a Full UK Driving License with access to own vehicle and happy to undertake travel to client sites as required.

A competitive salary £34,000 PA
Car Allowance: £200 per month plus mileage expenses 11p per mile.
