OH Medical are recruiting for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor for an in-house Occupational Health department of a luxury leisure facility near Perth.
The Remit
This is a full time permanent role, with a mix of home and site based working (with up to 4 days working from home). Your duties will include;
Reviewing pre-employment health questionnaires
Arranging and completing fitness to work assessments
Liaising with our Risk Management team where required
Consulting with the OH Physician as appropriate and supporting resolution
Providing advice regarding work and health due to sickness absence, work performance, health conditions, injury etc.
Assisting in managing people absence to reduce levels and costs
Making and managing onward referrals to other relevant health providers within your professional practice
DSE Assessments
Contribute to the development, delivery and promotion of Health & Wellbeing Strategy
Budgeting and arrangement of first aid training courses
Reporting, and reviewing department operating policies and procedures
Reviewing EAP service
The Requirements
NMC part 3 registered Nurse
Qualified to degree or diploma level in Occupational Health
Minimum of 2 years Occupational Health experience post qualification
Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Occupational Health Law
Experience in Mental Health support and A&E procedures is highly desirable
Able to work autonomously with excellent timekeeping skills
You're a strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised with an eagle eye for detail
